What is hydrocolloid?

Hydrocolloid was originally used for medical wounds.  Which is composed of gelatin, pectin, and sodium carboxymethylcellulose.  But was soon adopted into skincare for its beneficial microenvironment that helps speed up the recovery of pimples.  In this process, the hydrocolloid extracts fluids such as puss.  As the hydrocolloid sucks in the fluids and puss, the patch will change colors from a transparent to white, which is the puss that was inside the pimple. How does ZitOut Nose Patch work?

Like our other patches ZitOut Nose Patch absorbs pore and acne puss.  This includes excess oils or sebum.  The best part is that it is pain free! That means no more touching, picking, and squeezing necessary. 

What should I use to prepare my skin before applying ZitOut Nose Patch?

We recommend using your preferred cleanser and gently dry your skin, where it will feel slightly moist.

How long should I wear the patch?

If you've worn the patch for over 6 hours and it hasn't absorbed anything, it can mean a few things:

  • Pimple lacks fluid, which can mean that it isn’t ready yet or isn’t the right type of pimple.
  • The fluid in the pimple is too deep. The patch can help draw it up, but it might take 1-3 days to see results, depending on how deep it is.

What is the active Ingredient? Is it safe for pregnant or nursing women?

Absolutely! Our patches are made out of all natural ingredients, including calendula oil, centella asiatica (CICA) as well as tea tree oil. They are safe to use for pregnant and/or nursing women who may experience more breakouts due to hormonal fluctuation. We’ve got your bigger blemish areas covered, too, with our XL Acne Coverpatches!

How come there's no white gunk on the patch?

Keep in mind, results will differ depending on your acne and which phase it is in. Some visual signs you can look for is to see the white gunk in the sticker, or a visibly reduced size of the blemish bump. For best results, wear the acne patch for at least 6 hours.

Can you wear makeup on top of this?

Yes! Our patches are translucent and thin enough to wear during the day and night. We’d recommend our Spot Patch AM patches as they are thinner.

How long should I keep it on for?

We’d recommend leaving the patches on for 6~8 hours. Replace with another patch if necessary.

I have enough patches! Can I delay my next subscription? 

Yes, you can.  Go to your inbox and you should have received an email that confirms your order.  You can change the subscription interval, email, and shipping information.  

Can I apply any discount on top of the subscription?

Unfortunately, the only time this was available was during the launch of our subscription plan, as a special promotion, and we are not planning this kind of special promotion for subscriptions any time in the near future, if at all.

How do I access my subscription?

You can always go to your store account, which you should have made before subscribing, and then select "SUBSCRIPTION CENTER"  underneath the Edit Address button. You can also head over to your email inbox in which the subscription was created, and go to your invoice which you first made the subscription.
